Coming from a family of engineers, scientists, teachers and artists, growing up Sean loved the freedom and expression of skateboarding, music and art. At the same time, he enjoyed the application of math and science to understand and solve problems.
Ultimately, Sean followed in the footsteps of this father and grandfather becoming an engineer, taking the chaotic, the unfamiliar, the unknown, and turning it into the orderly, the familiar, the known. While fulfilling in many ways, the desire for creative expression through art never ceased.
Sean is a self-taught artist who, as with any good engineer, is curious and enjoys the process of learning, exploring, and playing with a variety of tools, techniques and mediums to create abstract paintings that bridge the gap between chaos and comfort.
